Seamless Underwear Looks so Fancy
Seamless Underwear and it's Advantages
The seamless band around the waist does look nice. The transition from the nylon waistband to the material on the underwear is very clean and sharp looking. The trick, as you might have guessed, is that they did away with the seam that attaches the waistband to the main portion of the underwear. Also, the seam around the leg has been done away with.
Some clever manufacturer started this trend, and now it is becoming more and more popular due to the clean lines and smooth look of the product. This look is achieved by using glue. Thats right, they glue the waistband onto the underwear with a high temperature press. The trend started mainly on underwear made using ice silk. Now, you can find seamless waistbands on underwear made from all different materials of cotton, modal, and nylon, polyester.
We know that one of the main areas where underwear fails, is at the seam. Not the seam itself, but where the seam is threaded into to underwear. Due to age and product use, the underwear material just gets worn down. Has this manufacturing process of eliminating the seam, solved this issue? Will the glue stand the test of time and wear?
Most experts agree that you should replace your cotton underwear every 6-9 months. Underwear made from modal lasts longer, so we don't have any updates as to when these should be replaced. But, the men's underwear keeps evolving without sacrificing the support that men need. Companies like TommyJohn and Saxx do not carry this type. The smaller, nimbler companies like RunaMante have a black model in stock that has an anti-bacterial silk lining.
