Men's Underwear Like Saxx, TommyJohn, RunaMante, Shinesty

Premium Brands Like TommyJohn, and RunaMante, and Novelty brands like Saxx and Shinesty

We have entered the era where even underwear is influenced by technology.  With 3d modeling, underwear is being fabricated with new comfort features that feel custom to men.  A feature that is catching on is the ball pouch in some form or another. If the underwear is made from cotton like at Saxx, or Shinesty, or out of both cotton and modal like at TommyJohn, or primarily from premium modal like RunaMante, they all offer a variation on the ball pouch.

This pouch allows the wearer to separate the nuts from the legs. When the crotch area heats up, moisture forms with the heat as well as bacteria. By placing your jewels in the custom pouch, the material absorbs some of that heat and moisture to keep the jewels cooler.  Some brands like RunaMante provide a lining that traps the moisture as well as neutralizes bacteria.  The result is to offer men healthier options.

The bigger underwear companies focus mainly on boxer briefs that are long like shorts.  It's almost like they are unsure whether to keep the man warmer with the long legs' material, or to provide a ball pouch that compensates for the extra heat that the long leg coverings generate by providing the ball pouch,

Why do most of these companies make their underwear so long in the legs? With the length of the boxers on the legs, it feels like we have compression tubes on that limit and constrict our leg movement.  Underwear is not for the legs.  It is to provide the best support for the man's anatomy.  This is accomplished by adapting and using premium fabrics that transfer heat, providing special features for the anatomy to stay cool, and additional options that help the man feel his valuables are protected.

This author is more partial to underwear companies like Sheath and RunaMante.  Sheath has a nice variety of classic underwear but with use of modern materials as well as providing comfort additions like their version of the pouch.  RunaMante is a lot smaller, but they focus on premium (60s and 80s modal) materials.  Both have underwear that provide the comfort and support of the bigger brands, but are separating themselves by shortening the fabric on the legs, and focusing on the private area.  Because the underwear covers less of the body, the area doesn't trap the heat.
